The first edition of DECENIO’s Golf Tournament was a success

On the 2nd of September, DECENIO marked the return of golf with the holding of the first edition of the DECENIO Green Tournament, with the participation of more than 100 people, including players and guests and in which EvoqueMag was one of the official Media Partners.

We had a lot of players registered and a lot of players were left out, so for a first edition the demand for the tournament was very positive”, reveals Ricardo Jordão, Administrator of DECENIO. “DECENIO was looking for a sport to associate itself with and it was golf that it chose taking into account the characteristics they have in common”, in this way the Portuguese brand started in the sport to reinforce its identity and rejuvenation, providing a unique experience to its participants.

Carla Branco, Administrator and Editorial Director of EvoqueMag, reinforced that “the presence of EvoqueMag, as a media partner, is an interesting way of developing partnerships and being associated with brands that meet our international concept of Luxury Travel & Lifestyle. This was a successful event and we are sure that this was the first of many DECENIO tournaments.”

The DECENIO Green Tournament happened in Vidago Palace Hotel and featured some partnerships, including EvoqueMag, Vinhos Poças, Ach Brito, Thyme, Bioderma, Super Bock, Per Se, Golfe Magazine and AUDI- Soauto VGRP. “For AUDI it is an opportunity to partner with a successful brand, to display its cars in a unique environment and provide a different experience for our customers”, reinforces Pedro Azevedo, AUDI salesman.

In the classification of winners of the first edition of the DECENIO golf tournament, Rui Martins, with 29 points, led the gross classification and the big winner of the first edition of the DECENIO Green Tournament was João Alves, who finished the competition with 39 points, followed by Fernando Ferreira, with 36 points in the Net classification. For the winner of the race to participate again is a certainty after having had an excellent experience in this edition.

After the positive results, DECENIO wants to repeat the experience and promote one or more tournaments next year.
